Mount Saghro
8 Days Trip
At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa. The hike to the summit is challenging, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the panoramic view from the summit makes the hard work worthwhile.

Jbel Saghro Massif lies between the High Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert. We'll traverse the range, ending on the Sahara side of Saghro. High peaks and volcanic monoliths resemble the U.S. southwest with soaring mesas, sparse vegetated plateaus, hidden springs and canyon oasis. We'll meet and have tea with Ait Atta nomads living in this harsh and remote landscape. Jackals, foxes, wolves, toads, frogs, wild sheep, gazelles, vultures, buzzards and the rare Bonelli-eagles also live here. Trees include Date palms, Acacia, Tamarix and Oleander.
